Four Israeli soldiers were killed and eight were wounded in an ambush in the southern Gaza Strip, while two others were killed in a stabbing operation at the Karameh (Allenby Bridge) Crossing with Jordan.
The United States vetoed a UN resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has killed 65,141 and injured 165,925 people in Gaza, the majority of whom are women and children, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reports.
