The Israeli army has intensified its systematic targeting of high-rise buildings, residential complexes and vital facilities in Gaza City as it prepares to occupy the city.
UN Security Council sources report that the 10 elected member states are pushing for a vote on a draft resolution demanding a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has killed 65,062 and injured 165,697 people in Palestine, the majority of whom are women and children, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reports.
