Israel’s Ceasefire Violations Persist

Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement with repeated strikes and ground incursions across the Gaza Strip.
A draft resolution circulated at the United Nations signals international support for the Trump administration’s stabilization plan for Gaza, prompting sharp criticism from Palestinian political and civil society groups.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has killed 69,176 people in Gaza and injured 170,690, the majority of whom are women and children, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reports.

Israeli Airstrikes on Eastern Khan Yunis
PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Local media reported that Israeli aircraft carried out two airstrikes east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Lieberman Criticizes Netanyahu over Rafah Fighters Issue
ISRAELI MEDIA: Avigdor Lieberman, leader of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, said that Netanyahu pledged to the Americans to release the fighters from Rafah without approval from the government. Lieberman said that releasing the fighters “would not be a victory, but absolute madness.”
Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation reported, citing figures close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, that he has not committed to the United States to release Hamas fighters trapped in Rafah.
Earlier, the same broadcaster quoted a source saying that Washington has been pressuring Israel to approve a safe corridor to allow the fighters to exit Rafah.
