STATEMENT: The Al-Qassam Brigades stated:
On Wednesday, we carried out a complex ambush against an Israeli force south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City, targeting its members with a shell and machine guns.
During the ambush, we targeted two armored personnel carriers with two explosive devices placed inside the cockpit.
We also targeted a “Nimr” type armored personnel carrier with a “Yassin 105” shell.
Our fighters, while withdrawing from the ambush site, targeted two houses where occupation soldiers were fortified with shells.
Our fighters confirmed that they had inflicted casualties among the occupation soldiers, leaving them dead or wounded.

AL-QASSAM BRIGADES: The Al-Qassam Brigades said they targeted a Merkava tank with a Yassin-105 shell in southern Al-Zaytoun, the largest neighborhood in Gaza City. The group added that its fighters also shelled two houses where Israeli soldiers had taken cover during their withdrawal from an ambush site in the neighborhood, claiming they inflicted both deaths and injuries among the troops.

AL-JAZEERA: Palestinian sources reported on Thursday that Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir issued a direct threat to the imprisoned Palestinian leader Marwan Barghouti after storming his cell at Ganot Prison, which was formerly known as Ramon and Nafha Prisons.
Barghouti’s family, speaking to Al Jazeera, expressed their deep concern. “We fear Marwan will be executed inside the cell by a decision from Ben-Gvir following his threat,” the family said. They also noted that they are “shocked by the change in his facial features, and the exhaustion and hunger he is experiencing.”
